Summary:
The ideal Business Development Representative (BDR) is an independent, self-motivated, tenacious, and collaborative salesperson whose primary role is to help discover, explore, and qualify new sales opportunities. You are on the front lines of qualifying and preparing future customers for their experience with our firm. In this role, you will be counted on to make outbound phone calls (cold & warm), actively listen, respond to challenging questions, and represent Diamond IT in the most beneficial manner. You embrace the importance of advanced technology solutions in relation to the business success for our customers and you are passionate in the delivery of your responsibilities. The BDR is absolutely critical to our success, as it is you who will ensure that the sales pipeline is always full of well-qualified leads. You report directly to the Director of Sales.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Research and qualify assigned leads to ensure they fit our description of our ICP.
- Conduct initial cold calls as well as make follow-up phone calls.
- Create, launch, and manage lead nurturing email campaigns.
- Work in conjunction with marketing specific to business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with our SE’s to win new clients and suggest innovative ways to improve our process and methodology.
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to fully manage the leads funnel and provide progress reports to upper management as required.
- Embrace phone sales, coaching, structure, and the importance of accountability to KPIs.
- Possess strong communication, time-management, and organization skills.
- Be tenacious and passionate in pursuit of goal achievement, company success, and personal/professional growth.
- Practical application of CRM software and MS Office/Google Suite.
- BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field with at least two years of B2B technology sales
